On October 5, 2026, a festive event dedicated to the State Language Day of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended by the Ministry’s leadership and staff.

The event was organized to honor the state language as a vital pillar of national statehood, pay tribute to the historical and cultural values ​​of the Tajik nation, strengthen national self-awareness and consciousness, and enhance the responsibility of civil servants regarding the proper use of the state language.

During the event, discussions focused on the status and significance of the Tajik language within the system of national and state values, as well as its role in strengthening the foundations of statehood, preserving national identity, developing national culture, and fostering national self-awareness.

It was emphasized that the Tajik language, as a crucial element of national identity, has played a significant role throughout the history of Tajik statehood and has served as the primary vehicle for preserving and transmitting spiritual and cultural values ​​from generation to generation. In this context, the state language is not merely a means of communication but a significant social, cultural, and politico-legal phenomenon, holding particular importance for strengthening the foundations of national statehood and preserving the spiritual unity of society.
