Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a phone conversation with the President of Serbia

During the conversation, held at the initiative of the Serbian side, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of political and trade-economic cooperation.

 

 

 

 

The leaders expressed mutual interest in strengthening business ties and implementation of joint investment projects in the areas of industry, agriculture, transport and logistics.

 

 

 

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Aleksandar Vučić also exchanged views on a number of topical issues on the international agenda, reaffirming their readiness to continue constructive dialog on ensuring sustainable development, promoting global peace and security.

The President of Serbia invited the Kazakh leader to visit Belgrade.

On July 31, 2023, at the initiative of the Swedish side, a phone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, Tobias Billström.

 

 

 

Foreign ministers have exchanged views on the current state and further development of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Sweden, cooperation within the framework the European Union, as well as discussed international and regional issues.

Phone conversation with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine

At the initiative of the Ukrainian side, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The leaders discussed humanitarian issues between Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

President Tokayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s position for the diplomatic solution of the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine on the basis of the UN Charter and universally recognized international norms of law.
